Spider Man returns in Brand new day!!

Spider Man

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will be Tom Holland’s fourth solo film portraying Peter Parker, releasing July 31, 2026. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and will be exploring a new part of Peter’s life after the multiversity events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Holland said the film would be a “fresh start,” returning Peter to the beginning of his journey in a story parallel to the major themes of the 2008 comic of the same name.

Comic book inspiration

The title refers to The Amazing Spider-Man: Brand New Day comic arc coming on the heels of the controversial One More Day storyline. In the comics, Peter Parker’s marriage to Mary Jane was erased in a deal with Mephisto, resulting in a soft reboot of his life. While the MCU version is unlikely to take the exact same approach, fans expect that Brand New Day will introduce new challenges, allies, and enemies, providing Peter with a fresh start.

What to Expect: Cast, Plot, and Production Updates

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to begin filming in 2025, with Tom Holland and returning cast members Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) joining him. Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) also has a role in the film, although it has not been revealed what character she plays. As for the story, not much is revealed, but given that a reset story is in place, it’s possible that Peter Parker will be rebuilding his life, with some new villains appearing along the way, and perhaps can set up some more crossover threads to add to the larger MCU. The first trailer isn’t expected until closer to the movie release, but fans are eagerly waiting for that release. Click here for the source
