A disturbing case has emerged from Bhopal where college student Farhan Ali is the prime suspect in an incident involving multiple young women that includes allegations of rape and blackmail. According to police reports, Ali has a tactic he used in which he lured fellow college students into a relationship, recorded intimate videos of the students without their knowledge, and later blackmailed them with the videos. Students and citizens are outraged, demanding punishment of Ali and justice for the survivors.

Police stated that several complaints were filed against Ali, and a formal investigation was initiated after more than one victim came forward. Ali was arrested and taken into custody for interrogation and evidence recovery. Escape Attempt and Police Shooting in Bilkisganj

The case took a dramatic turn during a vehicle collection in Bilkisganj. Farhan Ali, while in police custody, allegedly attempted to flee. In doing so, he also attempted to take a pistol from a sub-inspector while was in a potentially dangerous situation. The other officers quickly shot Ali in the leg to prevent a possible escape.
After the shooting, he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is still being guarded by police. The police have already said that he faces an additional charge of attempted murder for this incident under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The escape attempt has raised questions,including to why the accused attempted to flee, as well as, the police already questioning their own processes when they were executing the evidence collection process.
