On 6 May 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ to eliminate cross-border terrorism. This operation was conducted in nine different locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK), which included intent to dismantle terror infrastructure that was responsible for recent barbarism on Indian territory.
