Ultraviolette Shockwave

Ultraviolette Shockwave

Ultraviolette has transformed the Indian electric motorcycle segment with the Shockwave. It is an on-road-to-off-road electric bike that combines on-road performance with off-road capability. Ultraviolette offers the Shockwave at a launch price of ₹1.50 lakh for the first 1,000 customers. After this batch, the price will increase to ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

Stunning Design and Construction

The Shockwave boasts a low-profile design with rally-bike-like looks. Its high-beak-style mudguard adds to its tough looks, while vertically stacked dual-projector LED headlights ensure great visibility. The high handlebar provides better control on difficult terrain. The motorcycle also has a narrow seat, which makes long-distance riding more comfortable.

Performance and Power

An aggressive electric motor drives the Shockwave, providing 14.5 bhp and an impressive 505 Nm of peak torque. This makes the motorcycle reach 60 kmph from 0 in 2.9 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 120 kmph, but this is an exciting ride for performance enthusiasts. The light weight, at a mere 120 kg, increases maneuverability and power-to-weight ratio.
