Ultraviolette, an electric vehicle innovation based in Bangalore, launched a new concept called the Bangalore-based electric vehicle innovation, specifically the 2024 EICMA in Italy. Concept X focuses on adventure, adding functionality for long-distance travel with aggressive styling. During the development process of Concept X, Ultraviolette also made known the F77 Mach 2 in Europe, together with its declaration of F99 Racing Platform, as proof of the brand’s commitment to performance-tuned electric solutions.
Adventure-Ready Design and Features
Concept X still retains the spine of F77 but added pieces specific to adventure riding. The prototype features a bold yellow-tinted headlamp and new windscreen, robust golden USD fork, as well as a short beak which gives it a very unique look. Its sculpted tank is provided with extensive deep cuts and creases, and longer panels serve to amplify the aggressive stance of the bike. These give the bike a commanding look while supporting practical, off-road capabilities. The bike features the F77’s 17-inch wheels, equipped with road-ready touring tires that balance stability and traction across various terrains.

Under the seat, Concept X features a covering of the battery pack, which is a mount for auxiliary lights. This feature enables better visibility in night or low-visibility conditions while on tough trails. There is a tall, single-piece handlebar along with a long saddle shaped to provide maximum comfort and control in longer trips, thus ensuring comfort of the riders even on long journeys over challenging routes.
Power and Performance Expectations
Though Ultraviolette hasn’t detailed the motor or battery, it is derived from the same platform, which on the F77 features a 7.1 kW (standard) and 10.3 kW (Recon) battery pack. The company claims these can pump out as much as 39.6 bhp and 100 Nm of torque. For Concept X, the company probably expects a powertrain fine-tuned for adventure with further fine-tuning in power and torque to meet the stringent off-road and touring requirements.
The company also showed up the F77 Mach 2 and F99 Racing Platform along with the Concept X at EICMA 2024. The F77 Mach 2 is poised to tap into performance driven electric biking in the European markets, while F99 Racing Platform looks to attract the high speed racing enthusiasts. For propulsion, it relies on a powerful 90kW motor. It accelerates in just three seconds and goes up to 265km/h at its top speed. Active aerodynamics and air-cooling ducts ensure stable performance in that extraordinary racing experience.
