Royal Enfield has released the Scram 440, an evolution of the immensely popular Scram 411. The new Scram has come to market with a larger 443cc engine. Which is still based on the predecessor’s 411cc motor but now, they have increased the bore by 3mm. The new unit generates 25.4 bhp at 6250 rpm and 34 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. By putting a tiny but noticeable power and torque gain. Adding to the package is also a six-speed gearbox in place of the earlier five-speed unit with a promise of better smooth flow across different types of terrain.
All-New Design and Minor Alterations
The Scram 440 holds on to the rugged yet minimalist design of its predecessor with subtle refinements. Its silhouette is defined by sculpted fuel tank, wraparound headlamp panel, and single-piece seat. Enhancements include LED units for the headlight and taillamp for improved visibility.

The bike now sports alloy wheels, exclusively available in the Force variant, and is also seen in new color schemes such as Force Blue, Force Grey, Force Teal, Trail Green, and Trail Blue. With a center stand also included as a standard accessory, the new Scram specifically caters to practical maintenance needs.

Improved Frame and Dimensions
The Scram 440 retains the split cradle frame but makes the rear subframe tougher. Dimensions are tweaked slightly with a 5mm length and wheelbase for increased stability. These changes make the bike perfect for daily commutes and weekend adventures.
Advanced Braking and Suspension Systems
This car features upgraded calipers that enhance braking performance. The front features a 300mm disc with a two-piston floating caliper, while the rear has a 240mm disc with a single-piston caliper. The front calipers are now 30mm/32mm compared to 26mm/26mm before.

The Scram 440 carries over the suspension system of its predecessor-the 41mm telescopic fork and rear monoshock. These components, along with its sturdy frame, provide great reliability while navigating through different road surfaces.
Switchable ABS and Tubeless Tyres
A new feature for the Scram 440 is switchable ABS, which provides more control when off-roading. Through this, riders may deactivate rear ABS for better maneuverability under tight conditions. Tubeless tyres are also now an option, improving puncture resistance and ease of repair. # Versatility in Riding Modes
Equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, the Scram 440 is an ace in both urban and off-road terrain. The bike’s increase in weight up to 187 kg without fuel still proves manageable, thereby offering the maximum balance of stability and agility.
