Mahindra has launched its BE 6e electric SUV, boasting an innovative design inspired by the BE.05 concept. The SUV features J-shaped LED daytime running lamps and a sleek, closed-off grille. A floating aerodynamic panel connects the headlamps, creating a bold front fascia. With its flared wheel arches and a sharply raked rear windscreen, it resembles a coupe-style SUV. The BE 6e stands at a length of 4,371 mm with a width of 1,907 mm and a height of 1,627 mm. Its wheelbase measures 2,775 mm, providing enough room in the cabin. The BE 6e offers two battery pack options – 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The former has a power output of 170 kW (228 bhp), while the latter produces 210 kW (282 bhp). Both the models have a peak torque of 380 Nm. The lesser battery provides a range of up to 535 km. The larger pack extends it up to 682 km. ARAI certifications.
Efficient Charging and Driving Modes
Mahindra equips the BE 6e with an 11 kW onboard charger and supports up to 175 kW DC fast charging. Users can charge 20-80% of the battery capacity in 20 minutes using the fast charger. The three driving modes provided by the BE 6e are Race, Range, and Everyday to cater to diverse driving habits and preferences.

The BE 6e comes with some of the latest safety features: seven airbags and a Level 2 ADAS. A 360-degree camera system makes maneuvering through tight spaces much safer. It also has semi-active suspension, cruise control, and single-pedal drive.

The BE 6e comes in three different variants: Pack 1, Pack 2, and Pack 3. With an ex-showroom price of ₹18.90 lakh, it provides a budget-friendly entry into the electric SUV market.

The Mahindra BE 6e is positioned as a direct competitor to the Tata Curvv EV, with its INGLO platform, futuristic design, and extensive features. Its range, charging efficiency, and advanced technology give it a significant advantage.
