Hero MotoCorp’s electric division, Vida, has added to its range with the Hero Vida V2. The second e-scooter in the Vida brand appeals to a variety of consumer needs through three different versions-Lite, Plus, and Pro-and is priced at the bottom at ₹96,000 to tap into budget-conscious buyers in India’s growing electric scooter market.
A Competitive Entry into the Electric Two-Wheeler Segment
Tailored for every rider, the powertrain and battery variants of Vida V2 all come with a robust 6 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor rated at IP68 with 25 Nm torque. Each of the variants comes with a removable battery pack designed for different use cases.
Vida V2 Lite features a single 2.2 kWh battery fully charged in 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- Vida V2 Plus: It has two 1.72 kWh batteries, which give a total capacity of 3.44 kWh. Full charging will take 5 hours and 15 minutes.
- Vida V2 Pro: It is equipped with two batteries, which sum up to 3.94 kWh capacity. Charging from 0–80% will take around 5 hours and 55 minutes.
These models provide riders with a choice to select a model that fits their commuting pattern and preference for charging.
Performance Differences Between the Variants
Hero’s Vida V2 brings versatile performance across three different variants for riders of different types. The Lite has two riding modes -Eco and Ride-, with the Plus variant adding a third to it, which is the Sport mode for better responsiveness. Finally, the Pro version comprises three modes plus an exclusive Custom Mode for fine-tuning all powertrain parameters.

- Lite: It accelerates 0 to 40 km/h in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 69 km/h.
- Plus: The acceleration is 3.4 seconds for 40 km/h with a top speed of 85 km/h.
–Pro: Its acceleration time is just 2.9 seconds for 40 km/h with a top speed of 90 km/h.
The Lite has a real world range of 64km, while the Plus and Pro variants have ranges of 100km and 114km, respectively. End
