BMW has launched the 2025 M2 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.03 crore. This second-generation sports coupe arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), just months after its global debut. The updated M2 brings increased power, minor exterior refinements, and a revamped interior, solidifying its position as a standout sports car.
Upgraded Engine and Performance
The 2025 BMW M2 has a more potent 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six. Its power output has been boosted to 473 bhp, with 27 more than the previous model. The torque has been boosted to 600 Nm in the automatic and to 550 Nm in the manual. This move aligns the M2 with the larger M3 and M4 models, raising its performance pedigree.

It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4 seconds with the automatic and 4.2 seconds with the manual. With the optional M Driver’s Package, the electronically limited top speed increases to 285 km/h from 250 km/h. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard, and an optional 6-speed manual is available for the enthusiast driver.
Refined Exterior Design
BMW has tweaked the aggressive styling of the M2 subtly. Redesigned alloy wheels and blacked-out M2 badging complement the sharp looks of the car. Standard black exhaust tailpipes add that touch of sportiness while still retaining those staggered wheels, measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the back. There is also the option for the M light-alloy double-spoke wheels to come in black or silver finish.

The M2’s updated looks bring functional aerodynamics and stunning great looks, so this is sure not to let go of eyes on the road.
Advanced Interior Features
Inside it, there is BMW latest M flat-bottomed steering wheel as well as BMW Operating System 8.5 that powers the BMW 2025 M2 12.3″ digital instrument cluster and central touchscreen display at 14.9 inches in dimension, both a part of its BMW Curved Display combination.

New air vent design on the air conditioning and the option of red accents in the standard sport seats have added some extra style into the cabin. M Carbon bucket seats can now be ordered separately by BMW instead of only through the M Race Track package. In fact, BMW continues striving to find that balance of luxury and performance.
Inclusive Safety
Six airbags and multiple systems ensure high safety standards with this 2025 BMW M2:
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
- Automatic Stability Control (ASC)
- M Dynamic Mode (MDM)
- Cornering Brake Control (CBC)
- Dynamic Brake Control (DBC)
- Active M Differential
These systems work in harmony to ensure stability and control, even during aggressive driving maneuvers.
Diverse Paint and Upholstery Options
BMW offers the M2 in a host of exterior colors, which feature Alpine White, M Zandvoort Blue, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey. Options with Vernasca leather, combined with black with blue or red highlights, ensure an individualized M2 of your choice.
