Ducati has announced the Indian launch of the 2025 Panigale V4 on March 5. This comes after bookings were opened for the new superbike. The Italian marque had previously teased the motorcycle on social media, generating curiosity among fans. The 2025 Panigale V4, launched during the 2024 World Ducati Week, is the seventh generation of this iconic machine. Ducati has brought many changes, ranging from a new fairing design to enhanced aerodynamics, an upgraded chassis, and sophisticated electronic features.
Aerodynamic Improvements and Radical Styling
Ducati has remodeled the front end of the 2025 Panigale V4 based on the original Ducati 916 and Desmosedici GP racing machines. However its predecessor’s aggressive headlamp has given way to sleek LED headlights. These are smoothly integrated into the updated fairing, along with aerodynamic winglets for better stability at high speeds. The new fuel tank, seat, and footpegs offer greater rider comfort and control, allowing for longer rides.
Race eCBS:
A Revolutionising Braking System Ducati has added the Race eCBS (Electronic Combined Braking System) to the 2025 Panigale V4. The feature enables partial rear brake use when the front brake is used. The system maximizes braking performance by taking factors such as lean angle and throttle input into account. This adds a lot of stability to braking, particularly during hard cornering.

State-of-the-Art Electronics and Rider Aids
Ducati has outfitted the 2025 Panigale V4 with an array of electronic features. There is a new 6.9-inch TFT display with a contemporary interface for vital riding information. The bike comes with traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and cornering ABS. Moreover, the bi-directional quickshifter provides smooth gear shifting without clutch operation. There are also cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and various power modes available to the rider. These upgrades provide the best control and safety on both road and circuit.
Breathtaking Desmosedici Stradale V4 Engine
Ducati has carried forward the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine but it is now Euro 5+ compliant. The power unit puts out a staggering 216 bhp at 13,500 rpm and maximum torque of 120.9 Nm at 11,250 rpm. Ducati has shaved off 1 kg of weight from the engine while preserving high performance. The valve clearance check interval has also been set at 24,000 km, lessening maintenance work for riders.
High-Performance Suspension and Braking
The 2025 Panigale V4 S variant comes equipped with Öhlins electronic suspension on both ends. The motorcycle comes with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tires, which come in a 120/70-ZR17 front and 200/60-ZR17 rear configuration. Braking responsibility falls on the dual 330mm semi-floating front discs accompanied by Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers. At the rear, there’s a 245mm disc, providing equal braking power. The equipment delivers fantastic stability and stopping power.

Lighter and Stronger Chassis Design
Ducati has reworked the Panigale V4’s aluminum alloy frame, making it 17% lighter. The single-sided swingarm has been done away with and replaced by a new double-sided swingarm. This change reduces lateral stiffness by 37% and reduces the overall weight by 2.7 kg. These modifications enhance agility and handling, making the bike more responsive in turns.
Market Competition and Anticipated Price
The BMW S 1000 RR will compete with the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 in India. The base model Panigale V4 is currently priced at ₹27.72 lakh, and the V4 S is priced at ₹33.48 lakh. With the recent upgrades, the 2025 model will likely be more expensive. The price will be announced on March 5.
Ducati is raising the bar when it comes to performance and innovation with the 2025 Panigale V4. The impending launch has the potential to generate excitement among superbike lovers in India.
