2025 Ducati Multistrada V2: Lighter, Powerful Adventure Bike

Ducati

Ducati has presented the 2025 Multistrada V2 with a big evolution in terms of design and engineering. The latest model of Multistrada V2 sets new standards for adventure touring with its lightest kerb weight and more powerful engine. Ducati will launch the 2025 Multistrada V2 in India next year, offering more power, advanced technology, and enhanced comfort.

Ducati has managed to minimize the weight of the new Multistrada V2 by 18 kg to its predecessor. The model now weighs 199 kg in running order (excluding fuel), while the semi-active suspension version V2 S weighs 202 kg. An aluminum monocoque frame is the backbone of the motorcycle, with the engine as part of the stressed member. The rear subframe features a steel trellis design, while the swingarm uses cast aluminum, enhancing both lightness and strength.

The Compact Power Unit

With a new 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, the new 2025 Multistrada V2 makes power available in new ways. The engine, derived for the first time from the Panigale V2, weighs only 54.9 kg. It produces an output of 113.4 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Ducati has also improved the response of the throttle for better power delivery. The new gear ratios complement the riding philosophy of the motorcycle as quite versatile and suitable for city rides and off-road thrills.

Improved Looks and Aerodynamics

Visually, the Multistrada V2 draws design inspiration from its bigger brother, the Multistrada V4. The sharper styling includes features such as an adjustable windshield and upwash lateral air conveyors, which direct fresh air to the rider’s legs. Inspired by the Panigale and Multistrada V4, the bike incorporates redesigned headlights and DRLs. A new 5-inch TFT color display offers a multilingual interface with three distinct modes: Road, Road Pro, and Rally.
