2025 BYD Atto 3 Facelift

2025 BYD Atto 3 Facelift: BYD has revealed the facelifted Atto 3, which brings cosmetic updates and additional features to its first electric passenger car in India. This updated version, also called the Yuan Plus in China, boasts a more energetic design and enhanced driver assistance tech. Its global launch is imminent, with the new electric SUV set to arrive in India sometime after the international launch.

Sportier Front Fascia and Sleeker Rear Design

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 has a new front look with a sportier bumper and a bigger trapezoidal air dam. The new design provides the SUV with a more menacing stance without losing its premium looks. The headlamp itself does not change but continues to be emphasized with a chrome strip running through the lights. In the rear, the car receives a new roof spoiler and full-width tail lamps featuring a wave-patterned lighting design. The side profile is otherwise similar to the previous model but receives new alloy wheel designs with a fresh new look.

Introduction of ‘God’s Eye’ ADAS for Smarter Driving

BYD has incorporated its new ‘God’s Eye C’ (DiSus 100) driving aid system into the Atto 3 facelift. The system features a three-camera module and four surround-view cameras, boosting the SUV’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These features enhance lane-keeping assistance, collision avoidance, and parking assistance, making the Atto 3 safer and easier to drive.

Retained Powertrain and Performance

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 facelift carries over its current powertrain, providing the same performance as the current vehicle. BYD provides two battery options in India: a 49.92 kWh battery with a range of 468 km per charge and a bigger 60.5 kWh battery with 521 km on a single charge (ARAI-certified). All models are equipped with a front-mounted electric motor that generates 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, providing rapid acceleration and a silky-smooth drive.

Launch and Price Expectations in India

BYD has not officially announced the facelifted Atto 3’s timeline of official launch yet. Yet, the SUV is likely to make its Indian debut following the global launch. The existing Atto 3 retails for ₹24.99 lakh for the entry-level model and ₹33.99 lakh for the highest variant (ex-showroom). With the updates, the facelifted model can possibly have a slight price hike.

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 facelift introduces a more sophisticated design and sophisticated safety features while maintaining its robust performance. With electric vehicle adoption increasing in India, BYD is looking to reinforce its presence with this new SUV.
