The Winter Session of the Parliament which is disrupting since its beginning has again turned unstoppable as both the houses were stormed by the ruling NDA and the opposition parties.

Some of these important issues are: the farmers protests against new farm laws, the border issue with China and the process of replacing portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr BR Ambedkar in the Indian Constitution gallery with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The opposition also criticised ruling BJP of involvement in ‘political vendetta’ and many MPs demanding an apology from the government.
Besides the Ambedkar issue, the opposition parties have found another grouse in the recently passed farm bills.

Some farmers have been demonstrating against these bills for several weeks now, and have been setting up camp at several entry points to Delhi, resulting in such skirmishes. The opposition has disrupted the Parliament proceedings with its calls for debates on these matters.

The prolonged India-China border issue remains a contentious and sensitive issue for the opposition parties. The conflicts between two countries have brought controversies on matters to do with security and foreign relations and this has attracted different attitude from the opposition parties which has called for a debate on the issues.
