Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS officially in India. There’s little by way of design updates, features, and performance upgrades. The Speed Twin 1200 is priced from ₹12.75 lakh, while the RS version costs ₹15.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With these updates, Triumph continues to maintain a perfect blend of classic styling with modern technology.

Historic Design to Update a Little

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 has retained all the signature retro design elements. Most of the key styling features of the motorcycle are the same – round headlamp, bench seat, and sleek tail lamp – but the bike gets a revised fuel tank with a modern feel to it.

Triumph also equips the lineup with a new LCD unit sourced from the Trident 660, providing improved readability and functionality. Both variants include a USB-C charging port for added convenience.

The Speed Twin 1200 offers three striking color options: Aluminium Silver and two dual-tone schemes—Carnival Red/Sapphire Black and Crystal White/Sapphire Black. The RS variant features Sapphire Black and a unique Sapphire Black/Baja Orange dual-tone livery, elevating its sporty persona.

Enhanced Cycle Parts for Superior Handling

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 lineup comes equipped with high-grade suspension parts. The base variant includes a 43mm upside-down (USD) front fork and twin rear shock absorbers with piggyback reservoirs, all provided by Marzocchi.

The RS version is more elaborate, with the fully adjustable front forks and the Ohlins twin rear shocks, which are available with pre-load, compression, and rebound adjustability, so the ride can be made as customized as possible.

The braking performance also has improvement. The both models feature the same front set of 320mm twin discs with 4-piston calipers, along with a rear single disc setup. RS offers Brembo-sourced components, thus increasing the stopping efficiency and response over the non RS variant.

It now continues to maintain the 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine in both versions but fine-tunes it for 2025. The engine revs all the way to an even higher redline of 8,000 rpm and offers stronger power and throttle response.

A Worthy Addition to Triumph’s Lineup

The new motor churns out 103.56 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque, making it one of the most potent in its class. Both motorcycles come with a 6-speed gearbox, the standard model being equipped with a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts. The RS variant adds a bi-directional quickshifter, allowing clutchless gear changes in both directions.

Triumph ensures that the 2025 lineup of the Speed Twin 1200 is something modern. With advanced LCD display, it brings numerous pragmatic elements while incorporating an USB-C charging port, which enhances convenience to the rider. Additionally, the dual-tone paint options and gold on the RS make it stand out at a premium level.

Both motorcycles focus on delivering a well-balanced ride experience. Suspension setup is perfect for stability, and the new brakes give riders confidence during spirited rides. This motorcycle, in its classic design, powerful performance, and modern features, becomes an attractive option for enthusiasts.

Triumph’s Commitment to Innovation

Triumph has confirmed its commitment to the production of motorcycles that embody tradition and technology through the launch of the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS. Both bikes are suitable for a broad audience, as some will prefer the classic style of the Speed Twin 1200, while others will like the performance boost offered by the RS model.

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 lineup is the perfect blend of timeless aesthetics, advanced engineering, and modern convenience. While the standard model offers exceptional value at ₹12.75 lakh, the RS variant justifies its premium price of ₹15.50 lakh with superior components and features.

Victory enthusiasts and possible buyers will feel a thrilling ride with these motorcycles. With thoughtful upgrades and paying attention to small details, the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS confirm Triumph’s premium motorcycle market leadership.
