What You Can’t Do Under GRAP 2?
Some measures highlight that the burning of coal and biomass bricks for preparing food and warming houses remain prohibited.
It is strictly banned to passenger or pillion riding on the two-wheelers.
Special waste production, processing and disposal shall go on as per rules.
- Diesel generators cannot be used, with the exception for emergency purposes only.
Why GRAP 2 Over GRAP 3?
The transition from GRAP 3 to GRAP 2 has been made due to the progressive increase in the air quality index of the capital. The policy to relax measures is made based on the volumes of pollution and the efficiency of the measures currently in practice.
