Honda unveiled the first official design sketch of the new Amaze, showcasing a promising look for their cutting-edge third version of the sedan. This model will replace the second-generation Amaze, which has been on the market since 2018, signaling the end of this version. The launch coincides with the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, whose order books have recently opened, suggesting that the competition in India’s subcompact sedan segment is about to heat up.
Concept Reveal Through The Design
The first unofficial image suggests Premier’s front end is similar to that of the existing Honda City. The benisons of LED which consists of lights integrated onto the LED headlights form a four point signature reminiscent of the Honda Elevate compact SUV. In addition to that, the centerpiece of the new vehicles became a glossy chrome redesigned full width silver crash bar. The size of the new grille also improved due to the full-width silver garnish fitting perfectly under it. Furthermore, the new front bumper would seem to be sharper and more aggressive than the last model therefore, incorporating sportsmanship look to the car.

The Dimensions and the Platform
However, there are no detailed specs available and thus it remains unclear whether the platform change will make a significant difference in the dimensions of this sedan. The existing 2nd generation model is 3995mm long with 2470 mm wheelbase.

Changes Inside
In terms of the interior there is a lot of promise for the 2025 Amaze. Honda will have plans to upgrade the infotainment system which will mean large touchscreen and extra equipment required to enhance users. And while there is no particular news as to if a sunroof would be present, it would be ideal as a feature in the subcompact sedan segment, especially because its competitors such as the 2025 Dzire will include an electric sunroof.

Engine Options
In terms of drivetrains, there could be a focus towards petrol only for the 2025 Honda Amaze. It is also expected that the diesel variant would be absent from the new sedan. Instead, it will probably carry forward the current 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol option which comes with manual and automatic transmission.
Pricing Expectations
At the moment, the ex-showroom price of the second-gen Amaze starts at Rs 7.63 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.23 lakh. However, when the 2025 model will be launched in the early months of next year, it is believed that the 2025 model will be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10 lakh mark making this sedan a tempting offer within its class.
Conclusion
With the new Honda Amaze set to launch, the buzzing around what the model will look like and what other features it possesses is tangible. In with the picture of substantial updates and an attractive price, the new third generation of Amaze looks forth to catching some attention amongst the fans of sedans and making a mark in the already saturated market.
