Michael Clarke Supports Rohit Sharma: Former Australian captain Michael Clarke has come out with a shocking prophecy before the Champions Trophy 2025. According to him, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is going to be the highest run-scorer of the tournament. Clarke, the World Cup-winning captain, was confident of Rohit’s performance after the batter’s recent comeback into form.
Rohit Sharma Comes Back to Form at Right Time
Rohit Sharma quietened critics with a century in the second ODI against England, coming back strongly after a poor Test series against Australia. Appearing on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast, Clarke said, “India is going to win the Champions Trophy, and I am supporting their captain to be the top run-scorer. Rohit Sharma is in form now, and India needs him at his best.”

“I know England may not travel far, but Jofra Archer is a superstar. He will be extremely difficult to play, and I believe he will finish as the leading wicket-taker,”
Clarke added.
