In 2019, Sonakshi Sinha during her promotion his show Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 alleged that she was dallaught for not being able to answer the Ramayan question. This Mukesh Khanna recalled the incident recently and blamed her ignorance to her background and her father Shatrughan Sinha. Sonakshi recently dealt with such comments about her family and their values, responding to them.
Background of the Controversy
In Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, Sonakshi was forced to fail a question on the Ramayana which created too much controversy. The actor Mukesh Khanna, who was part of the famous show Mahabharat saw this opportunity to bash Bippi and stated that her ignorance is because of her father, Shatrughan Sinha.
Sonakshi ‘s Response
Mukesh khanna targeted late Sridevi and Sonakshi responded to it through her insta stories. She admitted that it is human nature that ‘I blanked out’ during the show, and that there were two contestants who didn’t know the answer but media only focused on her name. Defending Her Father
In defense of her father who was not around to do same himself, Sonakshi replied to Mukesh Khanna’s comment about her upbringing. She added, “The next time you decide to say anything regarding the ethics my father has raised in me then kindly note that because of those ethics I have only said what I said very politely.”

In his recent interview Mukesh Khanna is clear about his stand regarding such scenes again appealed to the sense of prudery, again, while talking about the distance young generation particularly has developed towards iconic epics like the Ramayana.
